What you have to know about Judaism

What you have to know about Judaism
is that we are blessers, questioners, see-life-as-sacred-ers.

What you have to know
is that you were born into a web to be a weaver, a dancer, a stretcher.
And it’s all connected and it’s your job to see how.

What you have to know
is that you were created on the sixth day of creation, that you were created
in the image of G!d, that you were at Sinai, that the whole world
was created for your sake, that you were made from the dust of the earth,
that what you do and who you are matters,
that you are someone’s basherte, that you belong.

What you have to know about Judaism
is that it’s not all-or-nothing
and at least sometimes, it’s about G!d.

What you have to know
is that if you sometimes feel
completely unprepared and incapable of leading
then you have something in common with Moshe rabbeinu.
